Marble League 2020

Posted on August 12, 2020

I am new to the whole Marble League fandom, but I am here to stay. I have been a watcher of John Oliver for year, and I have to say, this is one of the best suggestions he’s come up with. During this whole quarantine time, a lot of sports and everything else has pretty much shut down. In the absence of these popular sports, some that have been going without much notoriety gets their time to shine. I have to say, when I started watching it, I wasn’t 100% sold, but by the time I watched the 2nd race, I was. I could see why people like it so much. It’s simple and fun. The announcer Greg Wood, does a great job of giving every situation such life-like association that lets viewers feel like the marbles have a life of their own, and indeed they do in many aspects. Each have names, back stories, rolls (see what I did there) in the team, and so on. It’s a solid show that only lasts a short while but is fun to watch from start to finish.

I have been a fan of the O’rangers and Oceanics from the start because of my favorite colors are blue and orange (Im also a Bronco's fan). I tended to favor the O’rangers because of their simplistic but bright color. Orange is my go-to color when blue just isn't doing it for me. I have a new reason to favor orange, the OOOoooooo! It's the call for all O’ranger fans and there is some sweet merch I want to get to find everyday life fans. It’s the perfect eclectic addition in my humble opinion.

It's a weekly show and I’m hooked. If you find yourself wanting to find something different this show from the Netherlands is a must see. Here is the opening ceremony for 2020.
